American Folklore

We were commissioned by Nimbus Records to design the Yale Symphony Orchestra’s new album. After immersing ourselves in the program—American Folklore, a musical narrative of transformation, we crafted a visual language that echoes its intricate, melodic spirit. Inspired by American modernists such as Georgia O’Keeffe and the dreamscapes of Dalí, we adopted a painterly, theatrical treatment, weaving motifs from each composition into the artwork.
